Some people are not content with researching, talking, and blogging. These take the next step and become activists in causes that make conservatives proud. Below are those activist organizations that I heartily endorse.

National Rifle Association
With a declared mission to protect the Second Amendment right to bear arms and to promote safe, responsible, and competent use of firearms, the NRA is widely recognized today as a major political force and as America’s foremost defender of Second Amendment rights. The NRA has, since its inception, been the premier firearms education organization in the world. As former Clinton spokesman George Stephanopoulos said, "Let me make one small vote for the NRA. They’re good citizens. They call their Congressmen. They write. They vote. They contribute. And they get what they want over time."

FreedomWorks
FreedomWorks fights for lower taxes, less government and more economic freedom for all Americans, combining the stature and experience of America’s greatest policy entrepreneurs with the grassroots power of hundreds of thousands of volunteer activists all over the nation. American Center for Law & Justice
The American Center for Law and Justice focuses on constitutional law and is based in Washington, D.C. Through their work in the courts and the legislative arena, the ACLJ is dedicated to protecting religious and constitutional freedoms. In addition to providing its legal services at no cost to their clients, the ACLJ focuses on the issues that matter most to you – national security, protecting America’s families, and protecting human life.

American Family Association
The American Family Association exists to motivate and equip citizens to change the culture to reflect Biblical truth, believes that God has communicated absolute truth to man through the Bible, and that all men everywhere at all times are subject to the authority of God’s Word. They maintain that a culture based on Biblical truth best serves the well-being of our country, in accordance with the vision of our founding fathers. The American Family Association engages in the culture fight over: preservation of marriage and the family, decency and morality, sanctity of human life, stewardship, and media integrity. AFA enlists the support of its subscribers through "Action Alerts", which include information on vital issues and provide guidance on how you can make a grassroots impact on those issues.
